Perfect Instant Pot Hard Boiled Eggs

Make a batch of hard-boiled eggs in no time in your Instant Pot. The hard-boiled eggs are so easy to shell and come out perfect. They are perfect for breakfasts, snacks, salads, and deviled eggs.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Cup Water
  • 12-15 Eggs

Instructions
 

  • Place the steamer rack in the bottom of the Instant Pot.  Add 1 Cup Water to the Instant Pot.
  • Place eggs on steamer rack. I place as many eggs as I can on a single layer.  It is usually about 15 Eggs.
  • Place lid on Instant Pot and lock in place.  Make sure the steam valve in set to the sealing position.
  • Set to pressure cook/manual at high pressure for 5 minutes.  It takes about 10-12 minutes to get to pressure.  When I only did 12 egg sit did not take as long to get to pressure, about 6-8 minutes.
  • When it is done, you want to let it natural release for 5 minutes.  When 5 minutes is up do a quick release.
  • Open and place eggs in cold/ice water for 5 minutes.  The first time I did them I did ice water.  Every time after I have just placed them in a bowl of cold water, mainly because we do not have ice.
  • Peel and store in fridge. I crack the bottom of the egg and start peeling, usually the shell just comes right off.
