We all get overwhelmed with things. Big things, little things, many things. From family to friends to keeping up with everyday life. Cleaning, cooking, work, bills, sports, church, other activities. Where is the time for us? We as women are almost always putting someone else before ourselves. I’m here to help you make time for yourself. You deserve it! I’ve got lots of tools to help you get more organized with your household and everyday responsibilities that you can have time for yourself. During your me time, I want you to relax and do whatever brings you peace and joy. Don’t worry if every day that’s something different. Some days I like to read, some days I like to bake, sometimes I would prefer to research my family tree. You don’t have to do the same thing all the time, but you can if you want. There’s only 2 rules: it must bring you peace and it must bring you joy!
Yes, I love Jesus and will quote or refer to scripture at times. I also want you to know that I won’t push my beliefs on you. I’m here to help you not cause you more stress. Some things to know about me: I’m a night owl. I’ve tried to be a morning person, but it just isn’t me. I would love to be because I feel like I could get so much done if I just went to bed earlier and got up earlier. Once 6/7pm hits I pretty much want to be done with work stuff and even big household stuff. So, just how do I get all the things done and have time for myself? Stick around and I will help you work time for yourself into your day.
This endeavor started way back in 2019. I’ve always liked to write. I always wanted to have a blog. If you’ve read a couple of my posts you’ll learn that. Anyway, I felt like God was leading me to start a blog based in faith but also share other information. In 2020 I started a blog under That Country Grace. I wrote and posted on this blog into 2021. Then I kind of just stopped. I wasn’t getting traffic and I just felt like I was not succeeding in what God wanted me to do. I struggled with this because I thought if this is what he wanted me to do then why is it so hard. I needed to also make money to help my family out and that wasn’t happening, so I just stopped.

Mark and I started buying pallets and selling the stuff out of them. I also started pushing my boutique more. We ended up opening a store front. This took up most of my time and my blog was an afterthought. As I worked our store I continued to toss around ideas for the blog and still occasionally posted on the social media accounts for it. I was finding I didn’t like some things with the blog. I felt that it needed a change, but wasn’t sure what that change was. The name didn’t ring with me any more. So I started pondering other names. I wanted to keep grace in the name, because I love the grace God gives us. I wanted to be reminded of that.
Encouraged by Grace came to me. After days, maybe even weeks I was like this is it. I also decided to change up the color scheme. Since I had lost my whole website of That Country Grace, I needed to start over. I have worked to get Encouraged by Grace up and running. It has been slow going. I wanted to start it again at the beginning of 2024, but that didn’t work out. I then started getting everything rolling in the summer. I started putting blog posts up from the previous blog in the fall. I had to add a little extra explanation to some of them for them to make sense, but it’s slowly coming together.
At Encouraged by Grace, our mission is to empower women to achieve a peaceful and fulfilling life by providing tools and guidance to organize their daily routines, homes, and spiritual practices. We are dedicated to fostering a supportive community where women can find peace, clarity, and a renewed sense of purpose, leading to a balanced and serene life.
Stay positive, stay motivated, and make today amazing!
