I wanted to look back on all my favorite scriptures from the past year. These scriptures touched my heart for a reason during this time and I wanted to share them. I started by looking at my bible app to see what verses I highlighted. They could have been from the sermon at church, a bible study I was doing, the verse of the day in the bible app. If the verse touched me somehow, I highlighted in the app. I also went back through my notebooks that I write in and my bible study books for the year to what scriptures stood out to me. As I wrote out these scriptures for you, some of them reminded me of what I was going through at the time when I highlighted them. God’s truth on my life at that time. Some are still applicable to things happening in my life and it was a great reminder.
I encourage all of you to go back through your past year of scriptures that you have highlighted or scribbled down somewhere. Reflect on why they touched you then, has your circumstances changed, did you need a reminder and journal about it. This is a great way to see how these scriptures have helped you.
Let’s walk in grace and wisdom together.
With love and encouragement,

**P.S.
I plan to make this a yearly reflection. I have decided to start dating my verses and change the color of my highlighter at the beginning of the year. This way I can see how God’s word has touched my life in a given year for years to come!
Join me, by taking the time to reflect on your past year of God’s word. Let me know in the comments how God’s word has touched your life!
